Sari Sutton is a Canberra-based photomedia artist with a curiosity about human progress, power, transience and transformation. Her work is documentary based, but she also likes to play with constructed concepts and ideas. Much of Sari’s work is made in and around Ngunnawal country. It is deeply connected to place, while also transcending it. Her work has been recognised in the Australian Photography Awards, Head On Photo Awards, Australian Life awards (2021 finalist), and the Paris Photography Prize (PX3) (2020 Silver medallist and 2021 State of the World shortlisted artist). She was also a winner in the 1854/ British Journal of Photography 2021 ‘Edition365’ awards.
This work is part of the Art Auction Exhibition at Belconnen Arts Centre, on display until 30 November. Successful bidders will be contacted after the auction with payment instructions.
