Art Auction.

Join us for the annual CAPO Art Auction, a vibrant evening of art, entertainment, and celebration. This unforgettable night spotlights some of the region’s most exciting emerging and established artists.

Bid on stunning works, enjoy fine wines from Lark Hill Winery, catering by The Lazy Grazer, and a dynamic lineup of live performances—all included in your ticket. Including:

  • Venus Mantrap: the unforgettable cabaret star who will dazzle as both performer and auctioneer.

  • Kokoloco Dance: injecting rhythm, movement and colour into the night.

  • The Two Step Trio: Jacqui Bradley, Matt Nightingale and Kevin Bradley performing a spirited set of old-time string band music.

  • Natasha Rushka: a live painting session where you’ll witness a new artwork come to life before your eyes

Exhibition.

The 2025 CAPO Art Auction exhibition will on display at in the Generator Gallery at Belconnen Arts Centre from 17 October – 30 November 2025. The exhibition will be supported by the Auction Night event and series of public programs.

  • Yes. The 2025 CAPO Art Auction exhibition will on display at Belconnen Arts Centre from 17 October – 30 November 2025.

  • To get started:

    • Visit: galabid.com/capo2025

    • Click on the 'Register' button

    • Enter your details and click 'Register'

    • You will then receive a verification link and the verification code. Either enter the verification code into your device, or simply click the link to complete your verification. You are now ready to bid.

  • Once you have registered your account:

    • Log into your account

    • Click into the item that you would like to bid on, then enter your bid where the box has ‘enter bid amount’. To submit the bid, click ‘bid now’.

    • It must be equal to or above the ‘next minimum bid’ which is displayed under the item name. If your bid is successful you will see a ‘winning’ label next to the item name.

    • If you are not registered for the auction you will be prompted to enter your details and register before placing your bid.

  • Our team will be available on the night to help with any bidding or tech questions. Just look for the CAPO board members and volunteers in the badges.

  • If you win, you will be notified by email at the end of the auction with instructions on how to pay online. Once payment is received, your item will be available for collection after the exhibition ends, starting from 1 December.
